Will GPUThor Rowhammer attack achieve documented root-level GPU compromise by Sept 2026?

Bleeping Computer reported a newly disclosed Rowhammer attack called GPUThor that bypasses error-correcting code (ECC) protections on NVIDIA GPUs, enabling DoS and root-level privilege escalation. This attack extends classical Rowhammer research to GPU hardware.

Public documentation of a successful GPUThor-based compromise (PoC, CVE, NVIDIA advisory, or peer-reviewed security research confirming exploitability on production GPU hardware) with evidence of root-level code execution achieved.
