1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ThreatOdds ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. ThreatOdds is currently in public beta; features and terms may change with reasonable notice.
2. Description of Service
ThreatOdds is a community-driven cybersecurity prediction market platform. Users contribute predictions on cybersecurity events, threat intelligence trends, and vulnerability exploitation. No monetary value is attached to any prediction or reputation score. All points and rankings are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for any goods or services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements. The Platform is intended for cybersecurity professionals, researchers, and interested members of the public.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account, impersonate another person, or create accounts for automated or abusive purposes. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) submit false, misleading, or defamatory market proposals; (b) manipulate prediction outcomes through coordinated inauthentic behavior; (c) use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Platform's infrastructure; (e) use automated scripts or bots to cast votes or submit proposals at scale.
6. Content and Market Proposals
By submitting a market proposal, you grant ThreatOdds a non-exclusive license to display, moderate, and resolve the market. ThreatOdds reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any market proposal that violates these Terms, is not binary-resolvable, lacks a verifiable resolution criterion, or is otherwise inappropriate. All resolutions are final once confirmed by a platform moderator.
7. Intellectual Property
The ThreatOdds name, logo, and platform design are proprietary. User-generated content (market proposals, comments, evidence submissions) remains the intellectual property of the submitting user, but you grant us a license to use it to operate the Platform.
8. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THREATODDS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY THREAT INTELLIGENCE DATA, MARKET OUTCOME, OR REPUTATION SCORE. NOTHING ON THIS PLATFORM CONSTITUTES PROFESSIONAL CYBERSECURITY ADVICE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THREATODDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-platform notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
